A recent audit on the CSG gathering system undertaken by the DNRME identified a very concerning finding, that the “[CSG] companies need to have a more fundamental understanding of the [construction] standard and a more detailed integrity management system”.  And further, that the code of practice they are currently relying on needs ‘significant revision’.

What does this mean for the farmers and the wider community who are expected to host this industry?

How is this and other similar findings fed back into the system to ensure the inevitable impacts on the hosts are managed and prevented?

What recourse do the current and future farmers have in relation to this impact on their own Health and Safety?
