Subsidiaries of Australia’s largest insurance company will cease to provide public liability insurance to farmers if CSG infrastructure is on their properties. The decision comes after Insurance Australia Group (IAG) stated that the company does not specialise in mining and resources, specifically unconventional gas, and are therefore unable to calculate how the activities may impact a farmers’ overall level of risk and liability.
